Jenn Ellis
Curator and Founder 

Jenn Ellis FRSA is a curator and founder from Switzerland, Colombia and the UK based in London following half a decade in Hong Kong. Passionate about the considered meeting of art, space and context, she has created meaningful projects and connections between artists, institutions and galleries globally. As the founder of curatorial studio and project space APSARA, she has collaborated with international institutions, galleries, residencies and foundations including Tate, Michelangelo Foundation, Xenia, the Swiss Cultural Fund and Frieze. In 2024-2025, Ellis was appointed the Frieze x Breguet curator and commissioned projects responding to ‘time’ in Seoul, London and New York. Ellis is equally the co-founder and co-curator of TERRA, a monumental exhibition across the UNESCO heritage vineyards in Burgundy, and the co-founder of acclaimed platform AORA, which combines art, architecture and music to instill a sense of calm and wellbeing. 

Ellis’ projects have gained critical recognition in publications such as Art Newspaper, Artforum, Frieze, CN Traveller, BBC, Evening Standard. Ellis guest lectures at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, is a Tate Young Patrons Ambassador and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Ellis hold a Law Degree from King’s College London and a History of Art Degree from the University of Cambridge.

Gema Darbo
Associate Curator

Gema Darbo is an art curator and researcher. Her practice emerges at the intersection of visual art and curatorial knowledge. For the past ten years, she has coordinated, devised, and managed exhibitions and artistic projects internationally, collaborating closely with artists and art institutions.

She holds a Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Photography: Practices and Philosophies from Central Saint Martins as well as an M.Res Curatorial Knowledge and is currently PhD student at the Advanced Practices program at Goldsmiths University of London. Recently, she has contributed to various artistic projects as an independent curator, facilitator, and researcher at Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona), Tate Exchange (London), Deptford X Gallery (London), and Matadero (Madrid).

With a particular interest in research-led projects, she has participated in the collective investigation “Absent Audience: Practising Terminology” presented at the Royal Academy of Danish Arts (Copenhagen) and Goldsmiths University of London. Furthermore, she has engaged in educational programs such as (Crear) Situacions: Art i pensament col-laboratiu at Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona).


Katharina Uhe
Studio Manager 

Katharina is a London-based visual consultant, editor, and researcher working across visual arts and photography. Working as a Studio Manager for APSARA, she supports the founder and curator Jennifer Ellis on all aspects of coordination and production of exhibitions and events.

Her research practice explores the communicative potential and instability of the image. She holds an MRes in Advanced Practices from Goldsmiths, University of London, and is a visiting lecturer in the Photography Department at the University of East London.

She is particularly interested in grassroots and hybrid spaces where artistic, educational, and commercial settings overlap. Since 2023, she has co-hosted an open seminar on cultural theory at Photobook Café. Across all contexts, her work is driven by a commitment to building thoughtful, collaborative environments that question how images are made, circulated, and received.

Andrea Celeste La Forgia
Studio Relations Manager

Andrea Celeste La Forgia is an Italian artist and organiser based in London. She has worked in the arts and cultural sector for a number of galleries and artists as a studio, gallery and archive assistant.

Her own artistic practice combines elements of theatrical performance, sculpture, painting and spoken word. Using family experience and history as a starting point, often in dialogue with local history and archival research, she explores the condition of the contemporary working class. Recent exhibitions and performances include Hopscotch Reading Room (Berlin, DE), MAMA (Rotterdam, NL), Palazzo Massimo (Venice, IT), Walker Art Gallery (Liverpool, UK) and MAXXI (Rome, IT).

Daniel Greenfield-Campoverde
Design and Production Lead

Daniel Greenfield-Campoverde is a Venezuelan-American visual artist, filmmaker and designer living and working in London, UK.

As a designer Daniel has realised exhibitions for leading galleries and cultural institutions in Europe and the Americas.Clients include: The New Museum for Contemporary Art (New York, NY), Perez Art Museum (Miami, FL), Frieze Art fair. MASSMoCA (North Adams, MA), Smithsonian Freer Sackler (Washington, DC), Mor Charpentier (Paris), Luhring Augustine Gallery (New York), The Hill Art Foundation (New York), and individual artists Christopher Wool, Carlos Motta and Simone Leigh.

In his art practice, Daniel reflects on the complexities and entanglements of queer and diasporic identities. His work has been exhibited and screened internationality in venues including: The Bronx Museum of the Arts (New York, NY), LUX (London, UK), Hua International Gallery (Berlin, DE) Iklectic (London, UK), PS120 (Berlin, DE), Momenta Art (Brooklyn, NY) and Art Exchange (Colchester, UK), amongst others.

Daniel holds an MFA in Visual art from Goldsmiths, University of London and holds degrees in architecture from Yale University and Pratt Institute.
